FLEET | On Alice (Fleet) Griffin's death record,
it states she was "born 1862". It also states "Father: ABRAHAM FLEET" "Mother's Maiden Name: Uknown." (Alice married John C. Griffin.) Also, when Delia ("Dillie) Ann Fleet married Bivon Hudson, in 1883, Delie already had a son, Charlie. (middle name, Arthur). On Delia and Bivon's marriage record, it shows her name to be "Delia McDaniel". (I have no idea who she was married to before. Surprisingly / evidentally, the McDaniel gentleman seems to be my GGgrandfather.) Delia (Fleet) Hudson probably died in 1889, after the birth of her youngest son....Jessie (Jesse) - possibly during childbirth, or shortly after. He went to live with Alice (Fleet) and husband John C. Griffin, after the death of Delia. Bivon remarried twice, later....once to Mary Cagle, and then to Ida Golden. (she is shown as his wife / widow, on his military pension record.) |

FOX, William Henry "Dee" | Born 11 Nov 1871 in TN,Cocke Co,near Newport, son John
Wheeler Fox
and Sarah A Williams. About 1890, the western part of the US was
new and many opportunities were opened for people willing to move
west.
The Fox boys saw this as an opportunity to better their lives, so
William
Henry and two brothers, Robert Young and Charles Martin, all packed up
and traveled to Northwest Missouri, near Rock Port. They found work and
a place to live on the estate of L.B. Rudasill. After a short
time,
a younger brother, Wheeler, came from TN to live at the Rudasill
place. The Rudasills were about the wealthiest family in the county. The wedding of Minnie Myrtle Harmon and William Henry "Dee" Fox was held at the Rudasil home. Mrs. Rudasil's maiden name was "Beal", and the Foxes named their first son Everett Beal Fox. Dee & Myrtle moved to Kansas City and Dee took employment at Speas Vinegar in the East Bottoms. They had 7 children: Sara Marie b.3 Nov 1898; Everet Beal b.17 Apr 1900; Lucretia Blanche "Kirshie" b.20 Jun 1901; William Harold (my grandfather) b.1 Feb 1908; Glenmore Daniel b.30 Nov 1912; Charlotte Pauline b.29 May 1915; Darwin Birch b.12 Oct 1921 Dee died 11 Jul 1932 in KC MO and is buried at the High Creek Cemetary, Rockport MO. |

FRANZER |
My maiden name is Elizabeth
Marie Franzer. My father wa s Walter Henry Franzer b.Oct. 24,1915
d. Feb. 21, 2004. His father was Julius Henry Franzer b. Feb. 04, 1870
d. June 14, 1963. We are from St. Louis. My father had eight
childen Richard, Elizabeth & Linda (twins),Kathleen, Jeanette,
Christine, David, Paul. Kathleen died Feb. 23, 2003. Julius H. Franzer
married to Elizabeth M Gaskamp in 1898. Julius's parents were Fred
Franzer and Charlotte (nee Tiesmeier). Charlotte was married to Henry
Griese Nov 1857 and had two sons named Charlie and Henry Griese. Her
husband Henry Griese died and she remarried a Fred Franzer b. abt 1827
but on the 1870 and 1880 census the name was spelled Francis.
Fred Franzer was married before to a Sophie b. abt 1819 both from
Hanover, Germany and they lived in Calloway County. They had to
sons George b. abt 1855 and Charlie b. abt. 1857. I believe Sophie and
Charlie may have died and Fred remarried to Charlotte Griese (nee
Tiesmeier). Fred Franzer died before 1900. The 1870 census show Fred
Francis, Charlotte, George Franzer, Charlie Griese, Henry Griese,
Amelia, Julius Franzer, all living in St. Louis on Herbert Street.
Fred died before the 1900 census and George Franzer married a
women name Annie. I believe the may have had a daughter named Laura B
Franzer b abt. Nov 1882 d. Jun 26, 1884. George Franzer died Mar
16, 1896 and Annie died May 27 1899.They also lived in St. Louis. (1212
Herbert street and last location on death was 4105 N. Broadway. After
Fred died I believe my dad told me that Charlotte remarried a man named
Siekmann, Sieckerman or Siekman. My grandfather Julius Henry Franzer
had five sons Robert Elmer died in infancy, Arthur, Raymond, Lenoard,
Walter (my dad). They all lived in the St. louis area. I would like to
have any info or facts on the above statement. Like why was Franzer
changed to Francis and then back to Franzer. State archives of birth
records record Arthur Franzer as Fanger and Raymond Franzer as Frauzer.
My father said at one time Charlotte owned a farm that is now St. Louis
University and Fox Theater back in the late 1800's. It has taken
me four years to find out who my ggrandparents were on the Franzer side
of the family. Five months short of letting my father know who
his grandfather was and were they lived.

FRAZIER | Family who lived in Stone County Missouri in 1860-70 who had a daughter named Mary Elizabeth Frazier. I found a family I think she belonged to with a Thomas Frazier and a woman who am assuming was the wife Lucinda on a Census for 1870. Other children were John and Francis. On the 1880 census there was a different wife listed named Susan or Susanna and John, Francis and Ida who was evidently the child of Susanna. The 1870 says there was a child named May but wonder if it could be Mary instead because the age would be right. My Mary Elizabeth was born in 1855. She married George Washington Berry in Christian County Missouri in 1872. |
