Our Nowak family left Poland via Liverpool, England  to the U.S.A., arriving in New York, NY on the Issac Wright ship on May 29, 1855. We have a ships record where they departed from Liverpool England arriving in New York, NY.  The family members names that we have are as follows:

Martin Nowak and Maria (Jendrusz- maiden name) Nowak would be my great great great grandparents.  They had at least one son Franz (Franzisezek).  Martin and Maria are not listed on the ships manifast and we do not have an information indicating they came to the U.S.A.  We were able to get their names from Franz's 3rd marriage church record dated 1868, in Franklin County, MO.

Franz Nowak (born in 1809/1810) married Ewa/Eva (Lysa or Lysy or Lissy - maiden name, born 1813) in Poland.  Both Franz and Eva died in Missouri and are buried in St. Francis Borgia Cemetery Washington, Missouri.  Eva died in 1859 and Franz died on December 25, 1888, buried in St. Gertrude's Cemetery, Krakow, Missouri.

The following names are Franz and Eva's children:
Anton Nowak born in Poland in 1834, married Februnia Johequda in 1861 in Franklin County, Missouri, U.S.A.
Frank C. Nowak, born in Poland in 10/25/1838, married Anna Brevko in 1862 in Franklin County, Missouri, U.S.A.
John S. Nowak, born in Poland in 6/16/1841, married Mary Brevko in 1869 in Franklin County, Missouri, U.S.A.
Maria Nowak born in Poland in 1844, died in 1876 age 29 in Franklin County, Missouri, U.S.A.
Anna Nowak born in in Poland in 1846
Michael Nowak born in Poland in 1848
Joseph Nowak born 1853 in Poland to the U.S.A., married Julia Pointeck in 1876 after Julia's death, Joseph married Mary Budnick in 1900

Franz married Maria/Marianna (maiden name: Kowaczek) in 1861 Franklin County Missouri.  Together Franz and Maria had one son named Peter Joseph Nowak, born in Franklin County Missouri in 1862.  Peter later in life moved to Oklahoma City, OK and married Julia Shrapha (first husband's name ) and had two daughters.  Julia had three children (2-sons & 1-daughter from her first marriage).

We are still trying to find our family's home town in Poland.
