| YANSEN | I am looking for descendants of the George and Emma (Yansen) Radel(l) family. George Radel was born about 1843 in New York State. He migrated to the St. Louis area in the last part of the nineteenth century and married Emma Yansen. He died about 1907. I have done a considerable amount of research on the Radel family and would be happy to share with anyone who might have ties with this family. |

Young. Mary Young's grandparents were Alexander Young (wife
unknown) and Ezekel Ennis married to Margaret (maiden name unknown). Mary Elizabeth Young and Isaac Uri Bay had ten children: Roy Bay b. Dec. 1897 (my grandfather) Nellie Bay b. March 1900 Dora Kathryn Bay (married Thomas Richard Armistead according to obituary) born Sept. 19, 1904 John Nelson Bay b. ca. 1915 James A. Bay b. ca. 1917 Robert Elmer Bay b. ca. 1922 and the following with unknown birth order/dates: Evelyn Frankie (female Frances?) Madalyn Mary I have three lovely black & white photographs of Mary and Isaac U. Bay's 50th wedding anniversary gathering at their farm home sometime during WWII, but cannot put names to all faces in the family pictured. If anyone else has information following Mary Elizabeth Young's line back, I am interested in more details about antecedents such as American Ennis Young (may have been married to someone named Bryant before marrying Jeremiah Young). America married Jeremiah on Jan. 1, 1873 in Moselle, Franklin County, Missouri. America Ennis born ca. 1843 in MO. Jeremiah Young born ca. 1843 in Illinois and his father Alexander also born in Illinois. Ezekel Ennis born ca. 1793 in Kentucky, living with America and Jeremiah at time of 1880 census in Franklin Co., MO. Margaret (maiden?) Ennis born ca. 1813 in Virginia, also living with America and Jeremiah during 1880 census. Related surname branches: Bay, Young, Ennis, Yokum (or variant spelling).
