Classification: Query
Surnames: Elder, Bean
I am looking for the parents and ancestors of Daniel Elder, born somewhere around 1824, in Maine.
His wife's name was Ann, born around 1825. She died in 1907, in Butte, Montana.
Daniel and Ann had nine children: Henrietta, Daniel, George, Georgiana, Mary, Frederick,
Edward, Endora, and Eulalia. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

>I have recently received some information on a Joshua Elder who was born in
1763 at Cape Elizabeth, Maine.
He died  January 22, 1846 in Dexter, Maine.
Joshua was married to a Joanna Roberts on December 16, 1784.
Joshua was a Revolutionary War Soldier.
Joshua and Joanna's children were:
 1. William born 28 June 1785   d 9 July 1823 Married Sarah Bates
 2. Charles born 19 Sept 1788
 3. Richard born 21 Sept 1793 died 21 Mar 1849 married ?Roxanna
 4. Joshua  born 10 Apr 1798  died 5 Jul 1879 married Phebe B. Day
 5. Joanna  born 23 Apr 1809  died Mar 1892  married Levi Leathers
    >I have information on the above children's offspring if anyone is interested.
I need information on Joshua's parents. My Elder ancestry is from Maine.
  >I am also looking for information regarding the children of Joseph Elder born
26 Jul 1757 in Maine. He was the son of William Elder born abt 1726 in Antrim
County, N.Ireland.  Joseph married Hannah Connant (Conant), and they had at
least twin sons named Samuel and John. I suspect that Hannah died either
during the birth or shortly after because Joseph married an Ann Morrill in
1788 and Hannah's twins were born in 1784.
