Surnames: Elder, Van Vechten
I am looking for information on Rev. Robert Stewart Elder who was married to Julia Van Vechten.
Robert Elder graduated from Kenyon College, Gambier OH, married Julia Van Vechten 16 Sept 1844
and died in Jonesville MI 28 Aug 1850. Julia Van Vechten moved back to Mt Vernon OH after her husband died.
According to his will, his father's name was Thomas and Robert had a brother, David.
Robert may have been living in Coshocton County OH at the time he was a student at Kenyon College.
I cannot find any information on Robert Elder's parents or brother. Can anyone help me?
