Fowler's Inn located three miles east of Wellsburg on Washington Pike was built to accommodate the large droves of cattle and their drivers passing through on their way to eastern markets.  The present owners of this inn--now Drover's Inn--have restored the building and have it furnished in the original deor.  This is a poppular place for meals and dinner parties today.  Visitors may examine the old Drovers' log book.  The inn was built during 1848-1851.
