but no ELDER names were found in this book.

"A hamlet in the Braes of the Carse, east Perth and Kinross,
Kilspindie lies
on a minor road at the mouth of a glen that opens out into the Carse
of Gowrie,
7 miles (11 km) east of Perth. The seat of the Douglases of Kilspindie
probably stood on the site of the present farmhouse near to which
are
an old school (1821), a ruined doocot and a parish church rebuilt
c.1815.
In the kirkyard is the Stuart of Rait Mausoleum (1822)."

KILSPINDIE, from the book "FAIR LAND of GOWRIE":
....
"The three volumes of Calendar of the Stuart Papers, belonging to
His Majesty the King,
form an invaluable repository of facts relating to the Stuarts and
especially to the rising of 1715-16.
...The estates of Fingask and Kinnaird were forfeited but...Sir
Stuart returned to Scotland,
and at a sale of forfeited land in 1783 he repurchased the family
estates at 12,207 pounds.
Sir Stuart married (first) Janet, the eldest daughter of David Sinclair
of Southdun, in the county
of Caithness...and 2nd in 1761, Janet Budge-Murray of Pennyland,
Caithness.
It was through the latter marriage that the Pennyland and Toftingall
estates fell later to the Threipland family.
After Sir Stuart's return from France, he practised as a physician
in Edinburgh...
Sir Patrick Murray Threipland, fifth and last Baronet of Fingask...sold
in 1917 to
Sir John Henderson Stewart, Bart,....who also purchased the Inchmichael
estates.
The total area of the three estates then extended to 3827.946
acres [or almost 4,000 acres]...
