The County of Wheatland, Alberta, is bordered on the north by the Municipal District of Kneehill. The Red Deer River runs south-easterly on the eastern side of the County. The County of Newell lies to the south east, The Bow River forms the southern boundary while the Municipal District of Rocky View lies to the west. Neighbouring counties: North - Kneehill, Badlands; South - Vulcan; East - Special Area 2, Newell; West - Rockyview. |
