POPLAR SPRINGS CEMETERY
Adairsville,
Bartow County, Georgia

Page created by Judy (Hommertzheim) Mohr, Moore
"Ramblin Rose"

This cemetery is located on a small hill. On one side of the hill there are many
graves which have been restored or well tended; I was told by a black man, who was working in the cemetery, that this side is primarily black.
He said the white cemetery was on the other side of the hill. Here there are fewer graves and they also have been restored or well tended.
  I asked this man about the graves I had found on the top of the hill which were overgrown and almost hidden from view in the trees; he was unaware of these graves.
This is only a partial listing of graves;
I copied the information that time allowed.
I will list first the graves I found hidden from view on the top of the hill.
