Lenape Indian Document
The below "Lenape Indian" document is in regard to my ancestors Croston and Pritchard. One will have to study the history books and genealogy of the families of Croston, Pritchard, Dalton/Dolton, Dorton, Kennedy, Male, Burke, and more to begin to piece together the ancestry of these families. One can begin by studying and researching Melungeon genealogy. A complete book on Delaware Indians (the Lenape) is "The Delaware Indians" by C. A. Weslager 1991 ISBN 0-8135-1494-0 (PBK) Copyright 1972, Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey. I will post later a speech translation regarding these two aspects: the Melungeon and the Indian genealogy of my family.
