ERSKINE OLDS FAMILY

Daughter of Timothy and Lucy [Hough] Stanclift born NY Dec. 21, 1833, died Dec. 20, 1920(1), married at Green Township by Rev. J. W. Hammond Dec. 25, 1857 ERSKINE OLDS son of Asa Gilbert and Lucy [Church](2) Olds of Millcreek, PA, born Erie County, PA Nov. 17, 1827(3), died Nov. 11, 1896.
Ellen was living in the household of Hiram Stanclift in McKean, PA in 1850 census, but was listed as being of Green Township, Erie County, PA at the time of her marriage. She and Erskine lived Washington Township in 1860(4). By 1870 they lived Ball Valley, Millcreek Township, Erie County, PA with children Elmer and Minnie(5).

1. ELMER WILLIAM OLDS born Apr. 3, 1863, died Mar. 30, 1939, married Oct. 3, 1888 MARTHA LUNA STANCLIFT daughter of Samuel Martin and Eliza Ann [Seager] Stanclift born Sept. 20, 1868, died Dec. 19 or 20, 1948.
2. MINNIE EMILY OLDS born Nov. 26, 1868, died Erie, Erie County, PA Sept. 21, 1937, married Feb. 12, 1889 MARTIN LUTHER STANCLIFT twin to Martha Luna Stanclift above.
3. EVA JANE OLDS born Oct. 5, 1870, married Mar. 22, 1892 WAYNE NEWTON ANDERSON of Edinboro, PA. Newton Wayne or Wayne Newton Anderson was the son of Dwight Kirkley and Clarissa [Rockwell] Anderson born Edinboro, Erie County, PA Sept. 25, 1869. He was the brother of Elma Deeta Anderson who married Gardner Barzilla Stanclift.
4. ASA GILBERT OLDS born Mar. 27, 1876. In 1900 Census he was living Erie City in the household of John(7) and Cora Reynolds and termed a "cousin".(8)
