I first ran into the David Michael family while looking for another David Michael in the 1870 Oregon state federal census. They were in Union Co., Oregon but the listing gave only initials. Later, I found the same family (initials and ages matched) in Washington Co., ID. Since I had been working on Galloway and Pearl families in that county, I decided to also do a little on the Michaels. Unfortunately, I soon found that there were other Michael families in that area. One, John Michael, apparently connects to the Casper Michael descendants who were 1847 pioneers to Linn Co. Oregon.. What I have found is presented below. Additional information on these families is welcomed.
