ARRIVAL OF THE FAMENOTH, FROM LONDON.

The ship signalled yesterday afternoon was, as we rightly conjectured, the Famenoth, from London, with a general cargo of merchandise, and about forty passengers. She made the harbour last night, and was towed to the anchorage off the Queen-street wharf this morning. The following is the report of the passage, which occupied 94 days from the Downs. The Famenoth left Gravesend on July 29th, and the Downs on the 30th. Light breezes across the Bay of Biscay, until securing the N.E. trades in latitude 25° N. The S.W. trade winds were got on July 30 in latitude 3° 38 N. and 12° 30 W. longitude, and the Equator crossed on August 2 in 17° 58 W. longitude, 33 days from the Downs. The S.E. trades proved strong, and carried the ship to 25 S., when a succession of N. and N.E. winds bore her past Tristan L'Acunha on the 15th. Crossed the meridian of the Cape of Good Hope on the 23rd. The eastings were run down between the parallels of 45° and 47° S. The weather was very bad, with frequent hailstorms and strong squalls. Cape Leuwin was passed on September 10. Stormy weather and heavy squalls, which carried away several sails, were experienced till sighting the Three Kings on the 2nd. Down the coast, S.W. winds. The barque Bella was spoken on July 27, in latitude 5° 39 N. and longitude 19° 50 W., from Swansea to Valparaiso. The Famenoth brings a cargo valued at £32,800, and the following passengers:-
