The GOTHIC departed London on 4 June 1906 and arrived in Wellington, via Plymouth, Capetown and Hobart, on 23 July 1902. Captain William H Kidley was in command.

ARRIVAL OF THE GOTHIC.

The Shaw, Savill and Albion Company's steamer Gothic, which left Plymouth on 7th June, arrived in the stream at 13.15 this afternoon after a passage of 46 days. She will be berthed after complying with the usual health regulations. The steamer has 2000 tons of cargo for this port. The following are the Wellington passengers:-

Misses - Conway, Angore, Hull, McArthur,

Mesdames - Heygrate, Morrison, Reid and maid,

Messrs - Reid, Ward, Andrews, Baird, Conway, Goschen (2), Hambro and valet.
