THAMES


The following is a partial (28) passenger list of those who travelled on the "Thames" from Gravesend in 1949 and has been extracted from

Archibald Clark's diary of the journey by John Stevenson and kindly donated for all to use. John's ancestors are the Clark family.

The ship departed London on the evening of the 19 July 1849 and arrived in Auckland on the 26 November 1849.
A journey of 131 days. The passenger list totaled 34 and the ship was captained by John Hedley and had a crew of nineteen.
