This suggests several family groups--people who appear to be related-- The Hamerschlag family we know with the date they first appear in these directories: William (1868) his children Arthur, Edwin, Frances, Richard, Royal
Another Hamerschlag family group, perhaps William's father, brothers, uncles, etc., perhaps completely unrelated to us, but apparently related to each other-- John (1860) Joseph (1868) Judel (1869) Judel's death certificate showing the names of his parents Julia (1890--Judel's widow) Albert (1870) Mark (1890, the person who listed Judel with Ancestry World Tree believes that Mark was Judel's son) Moses (1890) Isaac (1890)
Others who don't seem to form a neat family grouping-- Jacob (1869) Adolph (1862) Seymour (1910) Is the 1910 Joseph the same as the 1868 Joseph?
