Marcus Steward's Family

The Child in the front is Ruby, the two twins from left to right are Ada and Addie, the rest from left to right are Jesse, Marcus, Matilda, Lotta, and Elsie Steward.

Upon inspection, Marcus and Lotta Steward were not in the photograph.

My best estimate for the date of the photo is Spring of 1897. This means Marcus would have been dead for about four years. Lotta would have been married and most likely living in Mississippi. Ruby would have been about four, the twins about ten, Jesse about fourteen, and Elsie would have been about seventeen.
