The news of the passing of Mrs Rebecca Greer, dearly-loved wife of Mr. Robert Greer, senr., Oldtown Street, Cookstown, was received with much sorrow and regret. Mrs Greer had been in indifferent health for some time past. She was highly respected by friends and neighbours, being of a kind and charming personality. She had also been a good wife and mother and will be much missed.

On Tuesday, 16th inst., her remains were laid to rest in the New Cemetery, Cookstown. The concourse of friends and neighbours following the hearse bore ample testimony to the public esteem enjoyed by deceased and members of her family. Rev R.M. Wilkinson, M.A., and Rev C. Howe conducted funeral services in the home, in the church and at the graveside.

The complete funeral arrangements were carried out by Mr Jas. M'Gucken, Commerical Hotel, Cookstown.
