On Tuesday last, at Truro, after a long illness, Capt. Teague, late master of the "Charlotte," Truro and Plymouth trader, aged 71 years.
On the 29th ult., of consumption, at his father's house, in his 25th year, William Henry, eldest son of William Carncross, Esq., of Belle-vue Terrace, Penzance; he endured his varied suffereings with fortitude and Christian resignation; and resting alone on the merits of Jesus Christ, he died under the full assurance of a blissful immortality. Those who best knew him will long lament his heavy.
At Penzance, on Wednesday last, aged 29, Maria, the wife of Mr. Arthur James Beckerleg. [Ma.??]
At Helston, on the 31st ult., Emily, second daughter of Mr. B. Best, in the 14th year of her age.
On the 14th of June last, at Mineral Point, North America, Mr. William
Rosewarne,son of Mr. James Rosewarne, of Hayle, aged 21 years.
At Trevedga, in Towednack, Mr. James Quick, aged 73 years.
At Probus, on Friday last, after a lingering illness which she bore with Christian fortitude, Mrs. Bishop, relict of Mr. Bishop, late of St. Allen, aged 65 years.
On Saturday last, at Probus, Mrs. .Matilda Hosking, at the advanced age of 87 years.
On Sunday last, at Probus, at which place he kept a respectable inn (the King's Head) for upwards of xxx years, Mr. James Lark, aged 57 years - much regretted by his family and a large circle of acquaintances.
On Monday last, at Probus, Miss Elizabeth C[rown?] aged 86 years.
On the 12th of July, at his residence at Tideford, near St. Germans, aged 64 years, Mr. John Sansom, a respectable member of the Society of Friends, by whom, at . as by a large circle of acquaintance, he was much esteemed; and by his death, the poor of the neighbourhood had lost a kind benefactor.
On Sunday last, at St. Ives, Mrs. Stevens, wife of Capt. James Stevens, aged 70, universally respected. Her death is severely felt by her family and friends.
On the 23rd of July, after a short illness, at Cath..donglass, Scotland, Mr. Richard Lisle, Esq., 41, supervisor of excise, eldest son of Mr. Richard Lisle late officer of excise, Penzance. As an officer he was highly esteemed, and much respected by all that knew him.
On the 24th ultimo, at Tiverton, universally lamented, Thomas Rosseter,
Esq., late of Jamaica, aged 67[?] years.
9 AUGUST 1839, Friday
At Helston, on the 3rd inst., of typhus fever, having buried a child of the same disorder last week, Mr. George Perkins, of the Red Lion Inn, aged 29 years, leaving a widow near her confinement, and three small children, to mourn their irreplaceable loss, and a numerous circle of relatives and friends by whom he was highly respected and beloved.
At Roseworthy, on Thursday, the 1st inst., Catherine, daughter of Mr.
William Jeffree, aged 20 years. Her death was occasioned by being scalded upwards of 15 weeks since; and though her sufferings were great, she bore them with fortitude, and died in hope of a happy immortality.
At Polruan last week, Mr. William Pearce, aged 24 years.
At Gwennap, on Friday last, Sarah, widow of the late Mr. Isaac Watts,
formerly of Helston, aged 78 years.
At Nottingham, on the 27th ult., Mrs. Ball, relict of the late Philip Ball, Esq., of Mevagissey.
At Gurlyn, in St. Erth, on Tuesday last, Philippa, fourth daughter of Mr. Paul Burrall, aged 8 � years.
On Thursday, the 1st instant, at Tavistock, Mr. Rich. Searle,
woolen-manuafactuer.
At Torquay on the second inst., lamented by an extensive circle of
acquaintance, Emma, the beloved wife of Captain Henry Charles Adolphus McKeverne.
On Thursday se'nnight, at Merrifield, in the parish of Plympton St. Mary, Devon, at her brother's, Mrs. Vosper, formerly of Cornwall, deeply lamented by a numerouse circle of friends.

At his residence in Portland Place, London, on Saturday last, after a long illness, Sir John St. Aubyn, Bart., of Clowance and St. Michael's Mount, in this county, at the advanced age of 81 years.
At Penzance, on Friday last, William Davy, Esq., aged 64 years.
On Friday last, at Falmouth, Mrs. Charles Tilly, wife of Capt. Tilly, aged 50 years.
At Penzance, on Monday last, of scarlet fever, Mary Rosewall Pengelly, eldest daughter of Mr. Henry Pengelly, aged 6 � years.
At West Looe, on the 10th instant, Mrs. Geeves, relict of the late Mr. Anthony Geeves, aged 81 years.
At East Looe, on the 14th instant, the lady of William Tickell, Esq., aged 53 years.
On the 15th instant, at Poltiskn, his father's residence, aged 23 years, John, second son of Mr. Borlase, solicitor, Truro.
At Redruth, on Sunday last, Mrs. Wickett, relict of the late Mr. John Wickett, of Davidstow, aged 65 years. Her end was peace.
At Launceston, on Saturday, the 10th instant, Miss Ann Mason, aged 20 years.
On Sunday last, at Trenithon, in Probus, after a long and severe affliction, which she bore with Christian fortitude, Mrs. Searle, aged 65 years.
On Thursday, at the Royal Navy Hospital, Stonehouse, in the 26th year of his age, Mr. J. A. Keating, late clerk of H.M. ship, "Romney;" he was invalided from the Havannah, the injurious effect of which climate he never recovered. He was highly esteemed by his brother officers for his gentlemanly conduct.
