After having spent several years using the Internet to conduct my own genealogy research, I have compiled this source to help you online databases of census records. While there may be hundreds of such census records websites, many of them have so much information packed into them, that I found them difficult or awkward to use. By limiting the number of census records sites to a small number, I hope you will find this census records guide more useful.

Moreover, we provided links to mainly to those census records archives and databases that provide older census records from the 1950's and earlier, which should be of more value to genealogists and family historians.
