·    1929-32: Served in Marine Corps as Drill Sergeant in the 55^th Company, 11^th Regiment, 2^nd Battalion in Nicaragua to hunt down “Santino”, entertained the Marines with Tumbling acts à lived in San Diego, CA for the remainder of his enlistment à discharged

·    1932?: Hired by Nicaraguan Government to be a Commander of General Juan Escamila’s Private Army to guard a road being built 90 miles from Leon = “easy going” but once ambushed by bandits

·    1933: Decided to move to Buffalo, NY

·    Roughly the 30’s and 40’s: Worked at the Houde Engineering Company

·    Clown in a circus then factory injury, then throat canceràLarinjectomy (had to talk with a voice box which he didn’t like to use)

• 1^st Wife was Goldie = Carlton Blantern. George had forbid Goldie to see her dad who was known to have abused her but he found them visiting together so he left; before knowing of Carlton.

• 2^nd Wife was Francisca from Nicaragua, when he was in the Marine Corps he sent money to her to save for him because he was GOING to move down there but he never did and Francisca spent the money anyways (hey, it was during the Great Depression).
