John James Fraser McBain
married Christina Nicol on December 12 1895 in Rosemarkie Church,
Ross & Cromarty
John was a journeyman blacksmith to the McAndrew family in Foddarty, R&C
and started his own business at King Street, Inverness circa 1895.
John's fatherAngus McBean & his wife Catherine McKay were
crofters at "Crofthouse" Tore and family descendants still farm there today.
Angus father, Francis was a crofter at Dunmaglass, Inverness, however little is
known of any history.
