Inventory and Appraisement by the Court of Ordinary

To L. F. Rickman, Verner Kastner, Horace Cathey, Ray McClain, & J. Robert Ramey

There are to authorize you or any three of you whose names are hereabove written to attend and appraise the goods and chattels, lands, tenements, rights or credit of L. W. Callenback, deceased wheresoever any of the goods, chattels, lands, tenements, right or credits of said deceased are within the County of Rabun and which shall be shown unto you by Hubert F. Callenback, as administrator  of L. W. Callenback deceased or come to your knowledge or sight, you having first taken an oath before some legally authorized person to make a true and perfect appraisment and inventory thereof, and to cause the same to be returned unto your hands, or any three or more of you to the said Court within two months from the date hereof.

In Testimony whereof I hereunto affix my hand and seal this 7th day of September 1965

A tract of land in parts of land lots #70, 71, 70 and 71 of the 5th land district of Rabun County, GA and being described in plat dated July 14, 1965 drawn by J. G. Nixon, recorded in Plat Book 6 on pages 326 and 327 of the Rabun County Georgia Deed Records is valued at

$7,500.00

We the undersigned appraisers do certify that having been first sworn by and before each other according to law, the within and foregoing is a true inventory and appraisement of all the estate of L. W. Callenback deceased so far as the same was produced before us by the Administrator of said deceased to the best of our judgement and understanding.

Amendment to Appraisal Dated the 7th Day of September of the L. W. Callenback Deceased Estate

Now comes Hubert F. Callenback, as administrator of said deceased and shows by way of amendment to said appraisal that the sum of Four Hundred Fifty and No/100 ($450.00) Dollars, cash is on deposit in the Bank of Clayton in addition to the property shown in said appraisal.
