"Excerpts" will take you to some records extracted from the Jamaican Baptism, Marriage and Death Records, relative to Seamen and Soldiers. For most of the seamen, the names of their ships are included; for most soldiers, their regiments will be listed. Most of them were British soldiers or sailors, although some sailors were from the North American mainland.

The full text of J. H. Lawrence-Archer’s 1875 book, “Monumental Inscriptions of the British West Indies,” and other books are also found here.
There are extractions from Jamaican wills, and Registers from Anglican, Roman Catholic, Methodist, Moravian and other churches, and Jewish records.
