Welcome to my Web site! I have been researching this line of Pattersons for 11 years now, and as best I can tell, I am the only one doing it. I am hoping by building this web site I will possibly find other Pattersons (cousins) in this line. I have gotten back to David Patterson b. 1764 and find no trace of a family for him. I am beginning to think he was in the witness protection program! This is my first attempt at a web page so bare with me. As I update it from time to time, I will get better at it I'm sure. When I first started researching my family I did not record where I got information. I don't need to tell anyone what that means! If you see any inaccurate information please feel free to contact me. It is my wish to be able to prove everything you find on this page and be able to give it to anyone that needs it. I'm looking forward to building an informative family web site with your help. Eventually I hope to offer pictures of family members as I am able to locate them, so PLEASE, if you have any of this family email them to me. This fall I will be adding a page of family members who served in the Civil War and one with pictures of family headstones. If you have anything to contribute in this area please contact me. I have transcribed deeds for David and the Simmons side of the family if anyone wants them. As yet they have not been proof read though. The DNA results for my line of Pattersons can be discussed by emailing me. I have 5 matches, one of which is a Patteson(notice the spelling here.
