Philadelphia, the 30th December 1758.

Secured by Jacob Dubree, Sr., of the Northern Liberties of
Philadelphia, yeoman, and Jacob Shoemaker, Jr., of Philadelphia,
blacksmith (Administration Book G, 138 [Philadelphia City Hall,
Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania]).13

He removed to Spotsylvania county, about 1720 and was for a
number of years presiding justice of that county. He died in
1730, having married about 1700 Elizabeth, daughter and heiress
of Gen. Robert Smith, of Brandon, Middlesex county.
