Cleve and Anita RAYMOND Progenitors
Genealogy and family history of Cleve RAYMOND,
Anita WISER, and associated Cleve and Anita Raymond progenitors (C.A.R.P.). This
site contains information about John and William RAYMENT, original immigrants to New England in about 1653
(and, to a lessor degree, Richard RAYMOND who came even earlier). Also
contains information about James RUMNEYMARSH WISER, a grandson of Nanapashemet, the
Grand Sachem of the Massachusetts Federation of Native Americans in the early
1600s. Personal histories of many Mormon Pioneers and early Utah settlers are
also presented. Common surnames are RAYMOND, WISER, PITCHER, THOMPSON,
HENDRICKS, HAMMER, and SMITH.

of Council Bluffs, Iowa and Omaha, Nebraska in 1846. It shows the location of
the principal Mormon pioneer settlements of that year in the middle Missouri
valley. Pearis RAYMOND and sons lived in Springville.

"William Wood's Map and Description of New England in 1635." This interesting
map of the Massachusetts bay shows where Sagamore John and Sagamore James lived. John and James
were uncles of our James Rumneymarsh Wiser. The map shows deer island, where James and other
Christian Indians were held during King Phillip's War.

Frost WISER.
Frost, Martha McKinney (1825) - Joined church
in 1841, present when Brother Woodruff healed sick with handkerchief of the
prophet. Present when B. Young assumed mantle of the prophet Joseph. Left
Nauvoo in 1846. In May, Heber C. Kimball company, arrived Sept. 25th, 1848.
Her husband at the time, George Langley, built the first adobe house in Salt
Lake City and was the first person buried in the Salt Lake Cemetary.

"Early Vermont Maps" - My
RAYMOND ancestors, Paul RAYMOND in the 1790s, down to Alonzo RAYMOND in 1840, lived in Bristol and Lincoln towns in Addison county.
This article contains important digitized Vermont maps and links to Vermont map resources. New additions include Wallings maps
showing residents of Bristol and Lincoln in 1857, and Beers maps showing residents of the same in 1871.

of the original divisions, and a table of the

Our RAYMENT/RAYMOND ancestors landed on the American
continent about 1650 and settled in the northern part of Beverly, Essex county,
Massachusetts at a time when it was still part of Salem, the capital of the
Massachusetts Bay Colony.
Beverly
in 1700 by Sidney PERLEY is a snapshot of property ownership in Beverly and Ryal Side. Includes several maps
and photographs of early homes surviving to modern times.

Genealogy, Volume II - Descendants of John and William RAYMOND,
(Samuel Edward RAYMOND, 1972). It includes additional RAYMONDs from
Genealogies of the RAYMOND Families of New England, (Samuel RAYMOND, 1886). Raymond has also added additional
descendents as they are sent to him.
