(Bob) Abney and wife, Lula Mae, Kennesaw; Martha Abney Trotter and husband, Gene, Ellijay; Donald Abney, Waleska; Linda Abney Williamson and husband, Dale, Marietta; Melba Abney Blackwood, Kennesaw. nine grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, and two great-great grandsons.

Mrs. Bessie V. Abney, 83, of Watson, who died Wednesday, was a native of Warrior. She had lived most of her life in Watson and was a member of Mineral Springs Baptist Church. Funeral will be at 3 p.m. Friday at Bell Crumly Chapel, with burial in Friendship Cemetery. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Estelle Alford, and a son Paul Abney, both of Watson.

Of Flint, age 67, passed away Saturday, August 16, 2003 at her residence. A Funeral Service will be held 11 a.m.
Tuesday, August 19, 2003 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 E. Davison Rd., Davison, Pastor Curtis Lily officiating. Burial will be in Gracelawn Cemetery. Mrs. Abney will lie in state at the funeral home where the family will receive visitors 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday, and 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday. Memorial contributions may be made to Genesys Hospice. Betty Cunningham was born December 17, 1935 in Flint, MI to the late Walter and Eva (Harris) Cunningham. She married Jimmy Abney on March 18, 1954. She attended Freewill Baptist Church and spent her winters in Leesburg, FL.
Betty worked at State Farm Insurance for 25 years, and loved her shuffleboard and pinochle. Surviving are: husband, Jimmy; daughter, Kaye (Larry) Jankowski; son, David (Kim) Abney; grandchildren, Natasha (Nick) Edgar, Nicholas Howard, Christopher Costanzo, Lanesha Brannon; great-granddaughter, Natalie Renee Edgar; several nieces and nephews; sister- in-law, Joyce Williams; brothers-in- law, Billy (Annielois),Bobby and Danny, all of Mississippi. She was preceded in death by an infant son Paul; and daughter, Robin; sister, Sandy Creg; brother, Allen Cunningham; and brother-in-law, Douglas Abney.

Betty June Tate, 69, of Rossville died Monday, Oct. 3. She was 69. She was a lifelong resident of the Rossville area, was of the Baptist faith and a veteran of the U.S. Navy. She was preceded in death by her father, Ernest Teas; husband, Randall Tate. Survivors include her mother, Bessie Abney Teas; sons, Brent Tate of Rossville, Terry Lynn Tate of Rossville; daughter, Lorrie Cantrell of Georgetown, Tenn.; sisters, Paulene Cluck and Ernestine Hughes; brother, Jack Teas; grandchildren, Lora and Leslie Hixon; five step-grandchildren. Services: Thursday, Oct. 6, at 2 p.m. in the Fort Oglethorpe chapel with Jim Young officiating. Burial: Lakewood South Memorial Gardens. Daily Democrat, Clinton MO, Jan 28 2002 - Beulah Beryl Abney, the only child of Fred and Mary Adkins, was born November 5, 1908, five miles west of Deepwater. Beulah died on January 9, 2002, at Westwood Nursing Home. She lived her entire life in Henry County, attending the Independence grade school. She rode a horse to Deepwater to attend high school for two years. She was baptized into the Deepwater Brethren Church in 1925. Beulah and Frank Abney were married December 22, 1926. To this union was born one son, Howard Devere. Beulah and Frank farmed for 30 years, on a farm adjoining the farm where she was born. In 1956 they turned the farming over to their son and moved to Clinton. Beulah was a homemaker her entire live, except for a short time when she worked at the Forrest-Jolly Nursing Home as a cook, after they moved to Clinton. She then spent several years caring for husband, Frank, after he suffered a stroke. She also volunteered later at the Clinton Senior Center. She thoroughly enjoyed her family, her friends and working in her garden and always had seasonal flowers ready to share with her church. She and Frank enjoyed fishing trips to Table Rock Lake with their camper. Beulah was a deaconess in the Brethren Church. She always found something good to say about everything and everybody, never a harsh or unkind word. Beulah is survived by her son, Howard, and wife, Wilma; four grandchildren, Gary W. Abney of Belmont, Michigan, Thomas Keith Abney, Marvin Dale Abney and Susan Carter, all of Clinton; six great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren. One great-granddaughter, Rebecca Joy Abney, preceded her in death. Funeral services were held at the Vansant-Mills Chapel on Saturday, January 12. Burial was in the Englewood Cemetery, Clinton.

BELGRADE - Beulah Francis Abney, Belgrade, died Sept. 1, 2003 at her
granddaughter's residence in Ballwin at the age of 88.
She was born October 31, 1914 to the late Edward and Laura (Scott) Boulch.
United in marriage to Mr. Clarence Abney on April 25, 1933. He preceded
her in death in 1984.

Mrs. Beuna B. Abner, age 81 of Phillips Hill Drive in Manchester, Kentucky passed away Monday, March 28th, 2005 at the Manchester Memorial Hospital. She was born October 22nd, 1923 in Clay County, Kentucky to the union of Andy and Millie Cody Brumley. She was a retired receptionist and a bookkeeper as well as a member of the Manchester Methodist Church.
She is survived by one son: Doug Abner and wife Linda of Paces Creek, One Granddaughter: Jennifer Cooney and husband Paul of Corbin, Kentucky, the following Great Grandsons: Luke, Drew, and Cade Cooney all of Corbin, Kentucky, and these nieces and nephews: Andra Roberts of Manchester, Kentucky, Libby and Markeeta Marcum, both of Lexington, Kentucky, Donnie Smith of Manchester, Kentucky, Greg Smith of Manchester, Kentucky, Mike Marcum of Nicholasville, Kentucky, Eddie Brumley of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Frankie Brumley of Scottsdale, Arizona, and David Brumley of Atlanta, Georgia.
She was preceded in death by her husband: Bill Abner.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Beuna B. Abner will be Thursday, March 31st, 2005 at 11 AM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel. Pastor Doug Abner and Rev. David Warden will be officiating. Burial will follow in the Manchester Memorial Gardens in Manchester, Kentucky.
Visitation will be Wednesday, March 30th, 2005 after 6 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel.
Rominger Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Billy Wilcox
Billy �Wilbur� Wilcox, 51, of Bowen, died Thursday morning at his residence after suffering from diabetes, heart disease, kidney failure, partial foot amputation and dialysis treatment. He was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Howard Holman and his mother, Evedna Abney Wilcox.
He is survived by his wife, Rev. Deborah Wilcox; three sons, Billy Wilcox Jr. and wife Amanda of Stanton; Nichlas Scott Wilcox and Thomas Kyle Wilcox, both of Bowen; three granddaughters, Morgan, Sierra and Brianna Wilcox, all of Stanton; his father, William �Billy� Wilcox of Winchester; his mother-in-law, Lula Belle Holman of Winchester; one sister, Linda (Charles) Saylor of Winchester; four brothers, Ronnie (Esther) Wilcox of Lexington, Terry (Becky) Wilcox and Danny Abney, both of Winchester, and Larry Abney of Florida.
Funeral service was held at 2 p.m. Sunday, April 8, 2007 at Hearne Funeral Home Chapel, Stanton with burial at Faulkner Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Darren Farmer, Robbie Townsend, Dale Anderson Jr., Chuck Saylor, Sam Wells, Thomas Rogers, Curt Daniels, Shawn Skidmore and Ryan Anderson. Honorary pallbearers all his friends.
