Mrs. Isa Abney Stewart, age 69, of 4211 S 4th Ave passed away Sunday a.m. at the residence. Survived by four daughters, Mrs. W. W. Collins, Mrs. Pearl Tuggle, Mrs Jewel Adams of Pittsburgh, Mrs. Ruby Smith of Tuscaloosa; three sons, J. E. Stewart of Tuscaloosa, Mack and G. C. Stewart of Birmingham; two grandchildren, Mary Jane Smith and Jimmy Adams. Funeral services from the New Merkle Methodist Church Monday 3:30 p.m., the Rev. Nelson Guthrie and the Rev. Crouch officiating, interment New Merkle Cemetery.
