Patricia was widowed in 1983. A few years later she met Phil playing bridge with a group. Later Phil worked up his nerve and asked if he could follow her home. She said yes. This decision lead to their marriage on November 26, 1989 at St. Martins. Together they traveled, danced and golfed. Patricia won many golfing trophies and scored a hole-in-one. She loved music, played the organ and gave lessons. Pat constantly sang and hummed throughout the house. She volunteered at the hospital for many years and soon had Phil involved. Phil and Patricia attended Abney family reunions from Oklahoma and Canada. She will be greatly missed. Pat and Phil moved to Fortuna 14 months ago to be closer to family. Patricia's health had been failing since her dear sister, Mary died several years ago. Pat died peacefully in her sleep. God Rest Her Soul.
Pat was preceded in death by her sister Mary and brother William Mannion. She is survived by her loving husband Phil, his daughter Karen and her family, her niece and nephews and their children, and her sister-in-law Julia Mannion.
