Adams County Pre-1907 Births

Filed at the State Vital Records Office

From LDS FHL Film 1306420

NOTE: The records below were found on LDS FHL microfilm 1306420 Item 1.
These birth records were filed at the State Vital Records Office before Oct 1st 1907,
when it became mandatory to register vital events in Wisconsin. It is meant to be
of help to the researcher as another means of locating vital record information but
is not a full transcription of the original record, and many births, marriages and
deaths that happened before Oct. 1, 1907 were not filed. There were also a small
percentage of vital events that were filed at either the county or state office
(but not both) so to be sure, it is best to check both the statewide filings
and the birth records found at the county level.

If you find a record here that you would like to have, you can borrow this film
for use at your area's Family History Center (FHC) for a small handling fee and
photocopying costs. Find the FHC in your area by calling the LDS church listed in
the yellow pages of your area's telphone book. If there are no FHC's in your area
or you are unable to use one, contact Joan

Photocopies of most of these records are also available from the Adams County Register of
Deeds office for $20 per copy (additional copies of the same certificate ordered at
the same time are $3 each). Call (608) 339-4206 for request and payment information.
