Descendents of Thomas Adderley, 1700s South-West England

Thomas Adderley purportedly came from either Salop, Shropshire or Slough, Buckinghamshire, though he was buried in Upton, Worcestershire and some of his children were born in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire. Thus, we say he came from South-West England.

Research notes indicate Thomas was insolvent upon his death, though he was cited as being an "austere" man with much private wealth at one time: private park, hounds, and servants. He allegedly had a brother who was a Magistrate in London.

The Thomas Adderley of the Line 1 Adderleys is also believed to have been born in Salop, Shropshire, though several hundred years earlier than this Thomas. No connection has yet been made between these two branches of the Adderley family.
