THE WILL OF JONATHAN COLE

In the name of God, Amen.

I, Jonathan Cole, (weaver) of the parish of Horsley in the County of Glocester, being of sound mind, memory and understanding do make, ordain, and constitute this my last will and testament in manner and form following (viz) I give to my son George Cole all my real and personal effects consisting of a lease-hold estate situate at Walkley wood in the parish of Horsley in the county of Glocester. Also I give to my son George Cole all my furniture and working tools and all my cash, plate, credits, and all my property of every description how so ever, where so ever, and in whose so ever hands it mat be found. Also I do hereby make, ordain, and constitute my son George Cole my whole and sole Executor of this my last will and testament who, together with my Brother William Cole xxx and my nephew Joseph Heskins as trustees shall carry this my last will and testament into effect. And it is my will for my Daughter Anne Ruthers to have only one shilling given to her as witness my hand Jonathan Cole (the testator) this twelfth day of June in the year of our Lord one thousand and eight hundred and twenty six.
