Descendants
of Batholomew Doyle |
| My
connection? Bartholomew Doyle was my 5 times great grandfather.
The Doyles in Australia have a most romantic history, arriving as convicts
yet becoming landowners of large estates throughout New South Wales within
a relatively short period of time. The genealogical tables are also
interesting, as many of the family inter-married, first cousins marrying
first cousins, thereby consolidating the family gains. The early
Doyle women made excellent marriages, in many cases marrying into the top
pioneer families in Australia. The genealogical records of those
families appear on this page. |

Manchester, Lancashire, but it was his son Edward
Moore who was the first in this line to arrive in Australia. Edward
was a convict

Australia was kind to the Moores and they went on to become owners of
larges estates in the Camden area of NSW. |
