Tabitha, the youngest child of William Boon and Rebecca English, was born August 30, 1797 Halifax District, Franklin Co., Nc. Her father, William Boon, died when she was only a very small child. Tabitha married and died in Franklin Co., NC.In Rupert Farnham Thompson's Boon book, Tabitha's line is very incomplete and doesn't show any of the many intermarriages that took place within this family with Tabitha and her sister's descendants. It also doesn't show Elisha's 2nd marriage to Tabitha's niece. The only two children who are carried out at all are sons, William Boon Uzzell and Henry Thomas Uzzell.
Some descnedants of this family used the Uzzle spelling and this name can be found spelled in a variety of different ways.
Elisha III, the s/o Elisha II and Dorcas Standley, was born January 29, 1787 Wayne Co., NC and died July 1, 1867 Frankin Co., NC.After Tabitha died, Elisha married his wife's niece, Charity Wester, d/o Hutson 'Hudson' Wester and Cely 'Cealey' Boon. At this time, Charity was the widow of Jeremiah Braswell.

,cite> There seems to be only a few graves marked Boon. and the open pictures of grass is the section that was reserved for the Boons, but no one is buried there yet. All of the back land behind the graveyard and the side is still owned by the Boons.
Searching for any photos of Tabitha's descendants. Also looking for tombstone pictures and scans of any documents relating to her family. Please write me, Ann (Jobe) Brown
