Daniel Job was born 1758/60 in Aubusta Co., Virginia. He married Mourning Pryor, d/o Richard E. Pryor and Mourning Thomson, in the late 1780's - d/o Richard E. Pryor and Mourning Thomson. By occupation, Daniel Jobe was a cooper (make of caskets and barrels). This caused him to travel widely over Tennessee, Kentucky, Alabama, and Mississippi.
