Elijah Jobe, or Lidge Jobe as he was known, was s/o Eli B. Jobe and Prudence ?. He was born about 1824 in Lawrence Co., AR and died about March 1880 in Cooke Co., Texas. He married Mary Parrack , d/o John Parrack and Lourana Cypret, on October 10, 1850 Oregon Co. MO. After his brother, Jesse Jobe and his wife, Susan Ann McIntire (my direct ancestos) died, Elijah and Mary raised my great grandfather, Caleb Jobe.
