He married Minnie Lee Oates 25 Dec 1907 in Polk Co. Texas. to this union six children were born. John died 07 Feb 1921 and is buried in the Decker Cemetery, Polk Co. Tx.. Minnie died 08 Dec 1978 and is buried in Brookshide Memorial Park, Houston, Texas.
