John, s/o Jeremiah Odle and Margaret Evens, was born about 1795 Overton Co., TN. He died in the 1850's probably in Washington Co., Ar. His wife's maiden name is unknown. A son's death certificate did list his mother as just Miss Abby. His ten children were named in his probate.

Page 61.Comes William Odle as the administrator of the estate of John Odle deceased and having at the last time of this court filed is account Current for settlement and no exception having been filed thereto or any item thereof and the court after a careful examination of said account finds that said Administrator has in his hands the sun of $1096. 40 1/4. It is therefore considered by the court that said account be allowed confirmed and entered of record. And it appearing to the Satisfaction of the court that said Administrator has paid all the demands legally exhibited against said estate and there the same above mentioned remains in his hands, It is therefore ordered by the court that said administrator pay out to the heirs of said John Odle deceased as follows towit.
