- James M. Jobe son of Edward J. Jobe and Isabelle Fincher. This photo taken October 1912, James was 71 years of age. He was a guard at the Missouri State Prison, Jefferson City., MO. in 1870 (per census). It is not known how long he worked there, but by 1880 he was City Marshall of Jefferson City, MO. (per census) James died in 1918 and is buried in Woodlawn Cemetery, Jefferson City, Cole Co Missouri in an unmarked grave, probably by his third wife, Elizabeth "Lizzie" Meador.
