- ----Lula Jane Simpson (1876-1901) - The woman to the right as you look at the picture is Lula. The woman in the chair to her left, who has her chin in her hand, is a friend, Maude Holley, who married Bedford Gammel. Her son Guy married one of my mother's Batchelor cousins, Juanita Clark, but the Gammels were also close friends of the Simpson family
