Joshua, son of David Job and Abigail Denton, Joshua was born Septmeber 15, 1785 in Watauga Settlement, Washington Co, Tn and died May 3, 1863 near Ringgold, Catoosa Co., GA. He married Ruth Tipton, d/o Thomas Tipton and Sarah Broyles, on February 17, 1808 in Washington Co., TN

4. Joshua and Ruth (Tipton) Jobe - buried at the Old Stone Church Cemetery, (formerly known as Chickamauga Presbyterian Church formed 1837) 3 miles south of Ringgold, Georgia. His epitaph read, "He lived in Jesus and died looking unto Him." Her epitaph read, "She lives and wed in the faith her spirit rests in peace". Submitted by Randy Jobe
