William Southward and Sarah and Mourning Jobe
Sarah 'Sallie' Jobe was born about 1796 probably in the Jackson Co., TN area. She married William B. Southward about 1812. Though no marriage record has been found it it believe to have been in the Logan Co., KY or Robertson Co., TN Area. For a while William and Sally seperated and William came to Texas where he is listed with Mourning, Sarah's sister as his wife. Occassionally Southward would get Southwood This probably had something to do with pronunciation and spelling phonetically.
