Wilson Sidwell and Rachel (?) Brown

** Andrew Jr, Thomas, Lydia (Job) Wilson, Rebecca (Wilson) Sidwell, Wilson Sidwell **

Wilson was born October 20, 1805 East Nottingham, Chester Co. Pennsylvania and died November 24, 1866 West Nottingham, Cecil Co., Maryland. Between 1852/60, he married Rachel (?) Brown, the widow of James Brown who had died 1852 in Cecil Co., Maryland. Rachel had 4 children at the time - 1) Simeon Allen Brown born 1842 2) Margaret E. Brown born1847 3) Samuel James Brown born 1844 and 4) Ruth Ellen Brown born 1848. Three of these children were mentioned in their father's will in 1852 Cecil Co., Maryland. Of interest is that Rachel's son, Samuel James Brown married Emily Jane Kirk, the daughter of Reuben Haines Kirk and Hannah C. Brown, on Decmeber 31, 1863 Cecil Co., Maryland. Samuel and Emily were the parents of Carrie R. Brown who married Haines Job, the son of Jacob Job and Rachel Kirk and grandson of Daniel Job Jr and Rachel Haines and great grandson of Daniel Job and Mary Brown. As you can see there is a lot of intermarriges with this group.
