"Know all men by these presents that we Elijah Jobe as principal and John Parack and Wm S. McWilliams as sureties all of the County of Oregon and State of Missouri are held and firmly bound unto the State of Missouri in the full and just some (sum) of fore (four) hundred dollars to the true payment where of we bind our selves and each of us and our heirs, executors, and administrators jointly and severly (severely) firmly by these presents. Sealed with our seals and dated this 26th day of April 1852."

"The conditions of the above bond is that if Elijah Jobe administrator of the goods remaing (remaining) in administration of the estate of Jesse Jobe deceased shall faithfully administer said estate and account for, pay, and deliver all money and property of said estate, and perform all other things touching said administration required by law or the order of any court having jurisdiction, then the above bond to be void, otherwise to remain in full force and affect."

"Estate of Jesse Jobe in account with Elisha Jobe adm. of said estate. "For services in keeping and raising two children the minor heirs of said deceased from the death of the mother up to this November term of the County Court for 1854, about two years. Said children being at the death of their parents about of the age of two and four years; which is reasonably worth $20 per year $40.00."

Estate of Jesse Jobe deceased

Now on this day came Elijah Jobe Administrator of the estate of Jesse Jobe deceased and moves the Court for leave to make a final settlement and the Court being satisfied that said Administrator had given notice as the law directs asign the Court gaiving said Administrator leave to make his final settlement whereupon he files his account as the law directs in which he charges himself with the Sum of two hundred and thirty four dollars and sixty seven cents and also credits himself with the sum of ninety two dollars and twenty one cents which leaves a balance now on hand of one hundred and forty two dollars and forty six cents and the Court having approved of said settlement Orders that said Administrator pay the said Sum of one hundred and forty two dollars over to the guardian of the minor heirs of said deceased & take receipts there for & file the same with the Clerk of this Court and after so doing it is Ordered that said Administrator be discharged from all further settlements and liabilities in said cause

Ordered by the Court that Elijah Jobe be and he is thereby appointed guardian and curator of Caleb Jobe minor heir of Jesse Jobe deceased and that he gaive bond as the law directs

Ordered that court adjourns until 9 o'clock tomorrow morning.
