Martha Emily (Brewer) Jobe, mother of Cynthia (Jobe) Cook died and was buried in Thalia Cemetery, Foard Co., Texas.
Cynthia Edna (Jobe) Cook died.Though I've been told that she was buried at Fairmont Cemetery in San Angelo, Tom Green Co., Texas, I now have to question that she was really buried there. A tombstone does have her dates on it. However, I am inclined to believe that it is a cenotaph 'in memory' for Cynthia on Wiliam's headstone.
I am much more inclined to believe that Cynthia was buried in Hood Cemetery, located in Cooke Co., Texas, where she was enumerated in 1900. However in 2009, there was no tombstone for her. Both of W. W. Cook's parents are buried there

Though Cynthia's name appears on the stone, she is actually believed to have been buried in Hood Cemetery, Cooke Co,. Texas (no marker). Her dates were added here in her memory. It is believed that this stone was placed several years AFTER William W. Cook passed away.
