Samuel Jobe Will Witnesses Statement

TRANSCRIPTION

In view of the uncertainty of the certainty of death and an sublunary things, I Eli B Jobe of Oregon in the state of Missouri now of sound _______posing publish and declare this to be will and testament.

First - I will and bequeath to my son Jacob Jobe the South half of the South west quarter of section one, Township 22W of Range 3 West eighty acres

Second - I will and bequeath to my son Thomas Jobe the North half of South West quarter of Section No one Township 22 north of Range thence west containing eighty acres.

Third - I will and bequeath to my two daughters, Peggy Jobe and Betsy Jobe, one bed ______ each with suitable furniture and all their clothing wearing apparel and so forth. Also, I give to Peggy four head of cattle now claimed by her, and to Betsy two head of cattle now claimed and known as hers

Fourth - I give and bequeath to my daughter, Epsey Hall, one dollar together with all that I have heretofore given her.

Fifth - I give and bequeath to my daughter Martha Cypret one dollar together with all, I have heretofore given her.

Sixth - I will and bequeath to my grandson Caleb Jobe one dollar.

Seventh - It is my ________ will that if at the ______time of my death I should owe any just debts that the same should be paid.
