Jobe of the other part, Witnesseth: that for the entire Indebtedness of George Jobe Deed, he being the Father of Said James W Jobe allso the Care protection, Support, and mentanance od Lucinda Jobe Mother of Said James W Jobe. during her natural life the Said James B. Miller and Josie F. Miller has this day bargained Sold & Conveyed, their entire Interest in a certain tract of land in Barren Co., Kentucky, on the waters of Nobob Creek it being the same land owned by the said George Jobe, at the time of his death, bounded as follows to wit beginning at a Mulberry N 45 1/2 E 92 poles to a beech; N 53 3/4 W 42 1/2 poles to two dogwoods; S 64 E 80 poles to a stone; S 23 E 26 poles to a Stone; S 48 W 148 poles to a black oak S 68 1/2 E 78 poles to a dogwood & black oak; N 55 E 24 poles to a poplar hickory & Mulberry; N 25 W 44 poles to a gum & hickory stump N 57 1/4 E 78 poles to beginning, containing 67 acres more or less, to have and to hold unto the said James W Jobe his heirs and assigns forever; the Said James B Miller and Josie F. Miller bind themselves their heirs, Executors & administrators to forever warrant and defend the title to said land to be free from the claims and claims of all persons legally claiming the same, unto the said James W Jobe his heirs & assigns forever, Said Josie F. MRS. LUCINDA JOBE DEAD
Mrs. Lucinda Jobe died at her home near Nobob, last Monday, at the ripe old age of seventy-seven. Paralysis caused her death. Mrs. Jobe was an excellent christian lady, had been a member of the Baptist church for many years, and was beloved and esteemed by all who knew her. She was the widow of the late Mr. Geo. Jobe, and leaves two children ~ Mrs. Josie Miller, who resided at home, and Mr. J.W. Jobe, of Decatur, Ill., but who came in to his mother's burial.
The remains were interred in the John Bradley burying-ground, near Nobob, Wednesday.
