(Jonesboro, TN, Vol 4, compiled by Wm Burns:In Memoriam: Mrs. Nancy Galloway(nee Bacon) died at the home of her son, J.M.K.Galloway, near Tolu, Ark., Oct. 27, 1902, at the age of 74 years, 3 months, and 9 days. She was born in Washington Country, East Tenn. Feb. 18, 1828 (I get July when I do the subtraction) and resided here(Jonesboro) until Feb. 1891. In 1843 she married G.W. Galloway, nine children were born to them, four of which with her husband have passed over the river to await her coming. Mrs. Galloway united with the Limestone Baptist Church many years ago, and moving to Arkansas, continued in the faith, uniting with the Liberty Baptist Church of Washington Co., Arkansas.
