"ED PUCKETT BUYS PAINT & WALL PAPER STORE.
A deal was completed this week whereby Ed Puckett becomes sole
owner of the Wagoner Decorating Company Store and the stock of
wall paper and paints and other accessories that accompany that line.
For purpose of a name, Mr. Puckett will call the business Puckett
Decorating Company. He says his wife is the "Company" part of the
firm. The store was established here by Mr. Wagoner of Independence and Mr. Puckett placed in charge. During the year and a half it has done a very satisfactory volume of business. It will be conducted in the future along the same lines it has in the past. The only difference being its sole ownership and control by Mr. Puckett."

L. W. Puckett arrived here from Alberta, Canada Friday to visit his
parents Mr. and Mrs. Ed Puckett. He has been laid off from his
regular employment with Continential Supply Company with
headquarters at Calgary, Canada where he has been for the past two
years. Business conditions, he says are very bad there."
